Houda Bakkali presented her work Women and Digital Art at Madrid-Barajas Airport, transforming one of Spain’s busiest international transport hubs into an immersive cultural space. Combining 30 large-format artworks, digital illustration, collage, animation, interactivity and augmented reality, the exhibition featured an Arab woman as its central protagonist, conceived as a tribute to Bakkali’s mother.
The project explored how physical and digital art can coexist in everyday public environments, reaching audiences beyond conventional exhibition venues and connecting with diverse audiences without geographical, temporal and generational limits.
