Cannes
Houda Bakkali began her artistic journey in 2008, establishing a distinctive visual language where digital art, femininity, and emerging technologies converge.
Her international recognition arrived in Cannes in 2018, when she received the New Talent Award at the Festival International Artistes du Monde, an event supported by the City of Cannes and the media outlet Nice-Matin., becoming the only artist at the festival to present a fully digital exhibition. Centered on Africa, the Arab female figure, and contemporary narratives of freedom and identity, the project introduced a refined and innovative approach to digital creation.

Paris
In 2021, during a contemporary art exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, Bakkali presented her first immersive augmented reality artwork created in the city, a vibrant tribute to Paris and the Louvre Museum through animation, color, and interactive experiences. Bakkali has also exhibited in different editions of the contemporary art fair Art Shopping at this venue.

Biarritz
Bakkali’s work has been exhibited in Biarritz, including presentations at the Casino Barrière Biarritz and the Palais des Congrès Bellevue, where she introduced immersive installations combining digital illustration, painting, animation, and augmented reality within contemporary cultural spaces, and presented her artistic practice and work to the Mayor of Biarritz, Maider Arosteguy.
