Houda Bakkali’s “Digital Art, Digital Culture” project brings together creativity, technology and cultural dialogue through exhibitions presented in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. These include solo exhibitions at the Alliance Française Abu Dhabi, Alliance Française–Al Riwaq Art Space, and the Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia-Hayy Jameel Residents, where her work explored new forms of public engagement through digital visual culture and immersive experiences.
Through these exhibitions, Bakkali proposes an innovative model that merges physical artworks with interactive digital layers, audiovisual narratives and accessible technological tools, creating participatory experiences that connect audiences of different generations and cultural backgrounds. Her practice highlights how contemporary art and technology can become platforms to inform, educate and entertain, while fostering international cultural exchange and dialogue.
A central element of her artistic universe is the representation of women as symbols of creativity and social empowerment. Inspired by her mother, her projects place female figures at the center of her storytelling, encouraging reflection on identity and visibility.
