Houda Bakkali presented The Use and Impact of New Technologies Beyond Art as part of the Cultural Encounters programme organised by the Parador de Cangas de Onís, the University of Oviedo and the City Council of Cangas de Onís, opening a public dialogue on the role of augmented reality, and new technologies beyond the arts. Through practical examples from her artistic practice, she explored how emerging technologies can create new opportunities across culture, tourism, education, healthcare and local development.
