Houda Bakkali Explores the Impact of Digital Art on Cultural Environments in Piura | Peru

As part of Digital November, an international initiative dedicated to promoting digital arts and cultures with the support of the Institut français, Houda Bakkali will deliver the masterclass “The Impact of Art on Cultural Environments” at the University of Piura, in collaboration with the Alliance Française.

Designed primarily for Cultural Management students and also open to the general public, the session will explore digital art and immersive technologies, with particular attention to augmented reality. Through practical examples, participants will examine the opportunities and challenges presented by these technologies, as well as the professional pathways they open up for creatives across fields beyond art and culture.

Alongside the masterclass, audiences will be invited to discover Houda Bakkali’s work through a travelling exhibition presented by the Alliance Française across different venues in the city. Combining physical artworks with educational content, a virtual gallery and dedicated spaces for experiencing augmented reality, the exhibition will offer an accessible and immersive introduction to her creative practice.
