Houda Bakkali’s “Digital Art, Digital Culture” Explores New Dialogues Between Art, Technology and Public Space at the Terrapuerto of Trujillo in Perú

From November 17 to December 31, 2025, the exhibition space of the Alliance Française of Trujillo, located at the Terrapuerto of the Peruvian city, hosts the exhibition “Digital Art, Digital Culture” by Houda Bakkali. The exhibition is presented in a unique setting, recognized on multiple occasions as the “best ground transportation terminal in the country” by the Asociación Empresa Peruana del Año, thus consolidating the Terrapuerto of Trujillo as a landmark space not only for mobility, but also for cultural dynamization.

The exhibition proposes the fusion of physical and digital artwork, exploring the potential of art and new technologies to break spatial, temporal and generational boundaries. Through this integration, synergies are created among diverse audiences, expanding the scope of the artistic experience and fostering a more direct and participatory relationship between the viewer and the artwork.

In this way, art is presented as a timeless and universal language, capable of reaching people in an accessible, understandable and celebratory way, transforming a transit space into a place for cultural encounter and reaffirming the value of digital art as a tool to educate, inform and entertain. As an aesthetic framework that goes beyond the canvas to encourage communication and dissemination.
