Cultural Heritage Through Immersive Art by Houda Bakkali

Houda Bakkali presented her project Dulcinea and Don Quixote in the Digital Age, an immersive artistic project reimagining one of literature’s greatest classics through Extended Reality (XR). Combining large-format artworks, interactive and audiovisual experiences, augmented reality and participatory workshops, the project explored new ways of connecting cultural heritage with contemporary audiences.

Bakkali’s work explores how immersive technologies can expand cultural narratives, foster participation and create new opportunities for education, cultural innovation and public engagement without generational, geographical or temporal limits.
