Houda Bakkali explores the future of digital art in rural and cultural spaces

Houda Bakkali presented Soria: New Technologies and Digital Art at the Parador Antonio Machado as part of the cultural programme of the Provincial Council of Soria. Combining four workshops and an immersive exhibition, the initiative introduced audiences to augmented reality, artificial intelligence, Web3 and immersive technologies, encouraging an open dialogue on their opportunities and challenges across culture, education, communication, science, marketing, tourism, etc.

By bringing digital innovation into a rural and historically significant setting, the project challenged stereotypes surrounding digital art and demonstrated how emerging technologies can foster cultural participation, accessibility and new opportunities for local communities and traditional cultural spaces.
