Houda Bakkali received the New Talent Award at the International Festival Artistes du Monde, an international contemporary art exhibition held at the Gare Maritime on the Croisette in Cannes, an event supported by the City of Cannes and Nice-Matin. The award recognized the innovative technological approach of her artistic practice and its contribution to the evolution of contemporary digital art.
Bakkali’s project reflected her distinctive creative practice, combining illustration and digital collage to explore a contemporary visual language.
Centered on the female figure, a tribute to her mother, as a symbol of freedom, beauty and strength, the exhibition drew attention for its originality, its innovative use of digital media and its contemporary creative concept.
