Houda Bakkali Honored at DNA Paris Design Awards

Breast Cancer Awareness by Houda Bakkali has been awarded an Honorable Mention at the DNA Paris Design Awards, an international design competition that, since 2019, has recognized outstanding achievements in contemporary design. This year, the awards brought together projects from more than 80 countries across architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, product design, visual communication, and many other creative disciplines, evaluated by a jury of distinguished architects, designers, editors, and creative industry professionals.

This distinction marks Bakkali’s second Honorable Mention at the DNA Paris Design Awards. Through this project, she highlights the potential of creativity and technology as powerful communication tools to promote awareness, prevention, early diagnosis, and access to reliable health and scientific information.

“I am deeply honored that my work, Breast Cancer Awareness, has received an Honorable Mention at the DNA Paris Design Awards 2026.

My sincere thanks to the jury and to the entire DNA Paris Design Awards organization for this recognition. Receiving a second Honorable Mention from such a respected international competition encourages me to continue creating projects where art and innovation contribute to social awareness, health communication, and positive impact.

In my work, Breast Cancer Awareness, I highlight creativity and technology as powerful tools for raising awareness about breast cancer, fostering engagement, and communicating reliable health and scientific knowledge through a universal and accessible visual language that promotes prevention, early diagnosis, and access to high-quality information,” said Bakkali.
